About Nurture Mental Health
At Nurture Mental Health our mission is to support individuals during their reproductive and parenting journey, to include fertility challenges, pregnancy or infant loss, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, traumatic childbirth, adjusting to parenthood, and ongoing maternal mental health struggles. We provide a safe environment for individuals to discuss their feelings, thoughts, and concerns without judgment. We provide psychoeducation, both in therapy sessions and in the community, about the unique needs of individuals during this transitional time.
Position Overview
Nurture Mental Health is currently seeking part-time licensed therapists and counselors to join our private practice as an Independent contractor 1099. Enjoy the freedom and higher income of private practice, without the administrative, credentialing, insurance billing, or marketing headaches. Monthly opportunities for case consultation and occasional paid in-person team meetings and training. You set your schedule and work 100% remotely via telehealth. We’re looking for self-motivated professionals who believe in our mission and are motivated to help our clients heal.

Clinicians are responsible for maintaining liability insurance, paying their own state and federal taxes, and ensuring they have a strong internet connection.

Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records including notes and treatment plans in the EMR.

Conduct psychosocial evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, ongoing treatment plan reviews and discharge summaries for clients when indicated.

Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups and families as needed.

Collaborate with clinical team as needed for client care.
Education & Licensing Requirements

Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
-
Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of Hawaii (must be fully licensed). A copy must be provided to Nurture Mental Health.

Willingness to credential with insurance companies and follow insurance contracts
Preferred Skills & Experience

Strong technology, telehealth, and electronic health record experience

Knowledge of psychotherapy models and interventions

Training and/or interest in obtaining training in one or more of these specialties:

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders

Reproductive psychotherapy/ infertility counseling

Pregnancy and Infant Loss

Couples counseling
-

Ability to assess situations and intervene appropriately

Familiarity with the DSM V and diagnostic techniques

Effective written and verbal communication skills
-
Demonstrates knowledge of ethics code and works with respect to code
-
Maintains professional boundaries in clinical and professional relationships
